"Army of One"
(2016/U.S./92 min./Transformer)
Director:Larry Charles
Cast:Nicolas Cage, Russell Brand, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Rainn Wilson, Denis O'Hare, Amer Chadha-Patel

Gary, a middle-aged patriot living in a remote corner of Colorado, is frustrated at the government’s failure to locate Osama bin Laden, terrorist and mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks. While undergoing dialysis as usual, Gary receives a divine message. “Go to Pakistan and capture bin Laden!” God has left the nation’s fate to me! Excited by the mission, he leaves for the distant country alone, armed with only a samurai sword. Awaiting him in Pakistan, however, are...unexpectedly friendly locals?!

Nicolas Cage stars as a mad patriot in the latest film from the “Borat” director!

There was actually a man who snuck into Pakistan alone to fulfill his “bin Laden capture operation” for his love of America. The peculiar man is played by beloved Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage.
With a flabby body and a face full of funny expressions, Cage's never-before-seen, freewheeling performance earned high praise from the U.S. media.
Larry Charles directs this shocking comedy in the same fashion as “Borat” and “Brüno.”
You can't miss the mad Cage on a dead run in the biting comedy world!
